4 patents, 2 PCT patents and 10 utility model patents were applied and obtained for the proprietary oblique injection molding machine and butterfly-shaped die. Online monitoring, online maintenance and other functions were enabled and the production efficiency increased by approximately 80% if compared with the marketable equipment of the same mold clamping force.

2014
R&D division of special injection molding machine was formed to specialize in the research and development of disposable thin-wall knife, fork and spoon as well as the precision injection molding machine in other sectors.
2010
The project R&D team for special injection molding machine was built to engage with the development of PP thin-wall injection molding products. PP lunch boxes produced by its cooperative factory were designated as the supplies to Guangzhou Asian Games.
2007
The project overall solution was determined mainly using the disposable plastic package and finished goods production line. The company creates the company database on its own, provides the remote online service for clients in controlling software update and equipment maintenance, and is engaged in the presentation of best solution for its clients.
2006
The company acquired EU CE certification. It developed the first EPS cup and bowl production line, making it the first domestic manufacturer in the development and selling of this production line.
2004
Guangdong Weida Plastic & Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd was incorporated. In the project orientation of manufacturing production line, it customizes the individualized machinery for clients and gradually developed vacuum forming machine, sheet extruder, cup making machine, pressing machine, thick sheet forming machine.
1998
The large vaccum molding machine with an area of 1400*3700 (mm) was developed, making Weida vacuum forming machine a reputed domestic brand.
1994
Shantou Weida Plastic & Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd was incorporated to act as an agent for selling injection molding machine and managing Weida vacuum molding machine.
